After the initial installation cost, the system is very cost effective to run. The system acts as a Passive DAS system which means that it uses very little energy. Passive elements such as the internal antennas and splitters use no electricity and the repeaters themselves use the equivalent power usage of a light bulb. This makes them a very sustainable, environmentally friendly solution. The main cost benefit however, is the increase in efficiency from staff as, for example, payments can be taken quickly, by payment terminals working speedily.
