In the heart of Anières, a two-storey underground car park provides spacious, 24/7 parking for visitors.

Mobile signal was very poor in this underground two-storey carpark, as the steel and concrete construction materials completely blocked the mobile signal from entering the car park.

Given the area’s status and clientele—business travellers and a high-earning population—seamless mobile connectivity is not a luxury but an absolute necessity. These users demand strong, uninterrupted mobile signal as an essential part of their daily routine, whether for business calls or using mobile apps for EV-charging.

To meet these high expectations, a robust mobile signal solution was required to ensure flawless connectivity throughout the underground facility.

The car park management team recognized the critical importance of strong mobile signal coverage throughout the facility. While WiFi was available, it quickly became clear that it was causing frustration among users, leading to several key issues:

The installation process began with an on-site survey using TestTool in Full Scan mode, which scanned all nearby cell towers across different operators. This allowed the installer to identify the most suitable cell tower to align the external Yagi antenna for maximum signal strength. The TestTool then automatically sent the survey data to StellaControl, our cloud-based platform, for further assessment.

This planning phase ensured that all areas would receive optimal signal strength, and that all necessary equipment was accounted for prior to installation.

For maximum amplification and distribution of the signal within the underground car park, internal Yagi antennas were selected due to their high gain capability. These antennas were strategically installed in a back-to-back configuration to ensure complete coverage, eliminating potential signal dead zones.
